Are you operating from a place of overflow?

Too often, we are running on empty and still being called to pour out what we simply don't have. We have to be filled up ourselves and give from the overflow, the excess in our lives without depleting our own resources. This all-inclusive retreat is about helping you get to a place of overflow. Overflow in business. Overflow of the spirit. Overflow of love.

Who is this retreat for?

A small handful of women (max of 8) will be brought together for an intimate retreat experience.

  • Women who have a business and need time to plan for 2017.
  • Women who are running a business and need to take a breath.
  • Women who have an idea and need time to plan and implement.
  • Women who need advice and want to meet like-minded entrepreneurs.

A Message from Shala

This retreat was inspired by my own need to get away. If you're like me, you feel like everything is coming at you at the same time and you just need to escape. Escape to recharge. Escape to refocus. Escape to actually get something done. Escape to get into the overflow.

As I talked to women about this burning desire for a retreat, women would just throw their heads back and say, "Yassssss, I need that right now!" So here we go! I pray that you will join me at the Overflow, and will move whatever needs moving around in order for you to make this time for yourself.

See ya on October 16!

Where

We will be retreating at the beautiful all-inclusive Retreat and Conference Center at Bon Secours in Marriottsville, MD, just west of Baltimore. Enjoy a reflecting pond with footbridge, a peace garden, a labyrinth, and much more.

What to Expect

Overflow has been intentionally planned as a retreat…not a conference. Expect time to laugh, breathe, spend quiet time with God, and have a nap in the afternoon if that is what you need! But we will dig into three business topics that are fundamental to every business, regardless of your stage in business, and each participant can schedule a one-on-one coaching session with the brand strategist and coach, Shala W. Graham, during the retreat. Learn more about Shala.

Sunday, October 16

Check-in is at 3pm. The welcome is at 5pm before heading to a dinner buffet at 6pm. After dinner will be our first group session on operating in the overflow. We'll dig deep and get vulnerable in our intimate group about our pain points and start casting a vision for our work and life.

Monday, October 17

A hot buffet breakfast is served from 8:00 – 9:30am. Enjoy your morning and spend some quality time in the Word and in prayer, perhaps by the pond or in the labyrinth. We'll start at 10am with group reflections on building a God-honoring business. Before and after lunch, we will tackle 3 core business topics: Brand Values, Strategic Planning, and Marketing Automation w/ Content Strategy. Our formal time together will end by 4pm so that you can spend time retreating or tackling that one thing you've really wanted to dig into. Dinner is at 6pm and Shala W. Graham will be available for one-on-one strategy and coaching sessions before and after dinner.

Tuesday, October 18

After breakfast, we'll meet again at 10am for group reflections and insights. Check-out is at 11am (luggage storage is available) with lunch at noon. After lunch, we'll wrap up the retreat with goal setting and accountability for staying in the overflow. The retreat will conclude at 4pm, but participants are welcome to enjoy the grounds into the evening.

Shala is an insightful and thoughtful Business Coach. Her candor made me comfortable, which allowed us to quickly build rapport. She asked poignant questions and immediately made suggestions for how to better manage the real and underlying challenges we were facing. She is honest, sincere, and extremely effective at what she does.

Cost & Registration

Private room at Bon Secours

There are two ways of being a part of Overflow. The retreat was designed to be an overnight experience to really disconnect from all that continually asks us to pour out. Those who can participate in the full retreat will have a private room in the lodge at Bon Secours, with a private bathroom. The rooms have wifi, but no TV and no phone. Also included in the full retreat are 6 meals, from dinner on Sunday night to lunch on Tuesday afternoon.

For those who can't commit to an overnight stay, there is the commuter retreat option which includes breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Commuter participants should plan their own dinner option on Sunday night before our group session that evening.

**Registration CLOSED on Friday, September 30**

Getting off-site to meet with Shala not only helped us wrap our minds around where we needed to take our brand in 2016, but it also served as an energizing team building exercise. Her insights and recommendations have been just what we needed!
